A career in the television industry is an exciting and fascinating one. Eligibility and course duration
10+2 or an equivalent qualification in any of the streams. Selections are mostly on the basis of your marks obtained in 10+2. The entire duration of the course is 2 years.

This is one of those courses that focuses a lot on both theoretical as well as practical aspects. Other than regular classroom and practical works one gets to gain experience in the field by attending a six months long internship period in one of the leading television production and media houses. This is a worthwhile course for entering the television industry in numerous roles such as presenter, news reader, scriptwriter for the TV, editor and for background production works. You are well equipped with skills in television production and other related activities. Since television production and direction involves lot of physical work you are provided with adequate training on every aspect through hands on practical training. You get to learn handling cameras and other production equipment. You are taught the virtues of working in a team and get to experience working in state of the art studios. Aspects on scriptwriting, shooting, lighting, audio mixing, editing and post-production activities are familiarized to you.
