Introduction
M.Tech or Master of Technology is a Post Graduate level degree course in the Technical field. It is available in various technical or engineering subjects. M.Tech in Fuel technology is related to the energy engineering domain and the course provides the dynamic, innovative and challenging environment to the candidates to support their research-based studies. Eligibility
The course requires Graduates holding Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology course degree from a recognized institute or university. The minimum qualifying marks should be higher than 60% as an aggregate in their bachelor's degree. The age requirement varies from one institute to another and needs to be checked before submission of application.
Admission Procedure
For admissions, candidates need to submit their filled application forms in the selected institutes before the last date of submission. Their applications should be enclosed with all other required documents like age proof, previous qualification certificate copies, application fee, etc.
Admissions are offered on the basis of performance of candidates in entrance tests. These tests can be of a national level like GATE, state level or institute level.
Duration
The duration of this course is 4 semesters which is equivalent to 2 years in regular mode. Each semester has 6 months duration.

After completion of this course, candidates can go for the research-based course- Ph.D. or Doctor of Philosophy in Fuel Engineering, Renewable Energy or any other related topic of interest.
