Introduction
M.Tech is an abbreviation of Master of Technology and it is a Post Graduate level degree course in technical stream. Eligibility
Candidates holding graduate level technical degrees like Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mineral Engineering or any other related subject are eligible for this course. It must be pursued from a recognized institute and candidates should have secured at least 60% to become eligible for this course.

Entrance tests are common for admission in this course. Candidates need to appear in entrance tests which can of a national level like GATE, State level or institute level. Candidates get shortlisted on the basis of their performance in these tests.

The duration of this course is 2 years or 4 semesters. Each semester has 6 months duration.
