Introduction
Master of Philosophy or M.Phil is a Post Graduation level course where candidates learn about research methodologies. Applied Mathematics is a domain of core mathematics which deals with the mathematical methods used in engineering, science, industries, and business. This course is theoretical in nature and can be enrolled in different modes like through correspondence, in part-time mode or in regular mode.
Candidates having a great interest in mathematics have an excellent analyzing and interpreting the resultant data, drawing conclusions, finding patterns, conducting observational and experimental studies are very much suitable for this course.
Eligibility
This course requires postgraduate candidates who have pursued their master's degree in the same or related field from a reputed or recognized institute are eligible for this course. M.Sc. Mathematics, M.Sc. Applied Mathematics, etc are acceptable in most of the institutes. The minimum qualifying marks and age vary from one institute to another and it is advised to check both the points before submitting the application forms.
Admission Procedure
