Master of Financial Management is also known as M.F.M, its abbreviated name. It is a post graduation level degree course in the field of Finance and management. It teaches about all the areas related to finance, accounting and managerial applications. Candidates also learn about different areas of finance like project planning, management services, corporate planning, management audit, marketing analysis, internal audit, economic analysis, etc through this course.
This course is not available through correspondence but candidates who are already working can pursue this course in part-time mode.

Admissions can be availed direct, on a merit basis or by appearing in the entrance examination. It depends on the institute you have selected for your admission. In all the cases, submission of duly filled application form is mandatory.
Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree or have passed 10+2+3 pattern course in any stream from a recognized institute and have secured at least 50% marks as aggregate are eligible for this course. There could be some relaxation for reserved caste candidates.

Candidates who have passed final exams of Chartered accountants, coast and work accountants or company secretaries are also eligible for this course.
Just like any other Master’s course, it also has 2 years duration in regular mode.
