Bachelor of Education in History is a subject in the humanities stream that explores the evolution history of human settlements and the rise & downfall of civilizations from prehistoric times to the present ages. You get to learn about the major historical events all around the world, their probable causes and how they were instrumental in shaping the world. A B.Ed course in history not only teaches the teaching fundamentals while taking classes at the primary, middle and secondary level, but also familiarizes you with the teaching methodologies while taking a class on history. For example, while teaching history it is important that the chronological order of the events be maintained, otherwise the relevance will be lost.

Eligibility and course duration


A bachelor's degree in arts and humanities with history as one of the main subjects in graduation. Admission to the course is based on written tests and marks obtained during graduation.
