Introduction
Master of Technology or M.Tech is a post-graduate level degree course which is available in many different technical specializations. Electronic Instrumentation and Control domain is one among them with excellent opportunities after completion. Instrumentation is a part of art and science of control and measurements. An instrument is considered as a device that is used to measure or regular process variable like flow, level, temperature, the pressure during any work.
Control engineering is an engineering involved in control theory involved in design systems.
Candidates having excellent communication skills, have interpersonal and team working skills, good knowledge of instrumentation and want to learn about their working in detail are ideal for this course.
Admission Procedure
Admission procedures include submission of application form enclosed with other important documents. To get admissions in reputed institutes, candidates need to appear in entrance tests and secure top ranks. These tests can be national level like GATE, state level or institute level and a single candidate can appear in multiple tests as per his or her availability.
Eligibility
Candidates holding a bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Engineering or any other graduate level degree with the specialization in metallurgical, aeronautical, mechatronics, industrial or marine engineering are eligible for this course. It should be pursued from a reputed institute and candidates must have secured 60% marks or higher to become eligible for this course.
It also has some strict age restrictions with some relaxations to reserved castes. Candidates are advised to check the same before submission of application.
