Overview
The aim of the program is to prepare you for administrative roles in the field of healthcare and hospital management. It improves upon your managerial skills that come in handy while manning administrative positions in hospitals, nursing homes and health clinics. The course has immense scope in today's work-field, as the number of corporate hospitals are rising every year.
Eligibility and course duration
Following are the categories who can apply for the program:
- Bachelor's degree in Medicine or Dental from an institute recognized by the Medical & Dental Council of India respectively.
- Candidates with degree in homeopathy, nursing, pharmacy and other medical trades with relevant work experience in hospitals.
- Other graduates having degree in business management, finance and personnel management too should have relevant work experience in the healthcare sector.
Selections to the program are based on past academic performances. Some of the institutes may however conduct entrance tests as well as interviews.
The program is of 1-year duration.

As is mentioned above there is a rapid growth in the number of hospitals. As a result, the demand for medical professionals who will look after the administration of the hospitals too is on the rise. You also learn assessing the clinical and non-classical needs of patients, provide administrative and technical support to physicians, nursing staff and paramedical personnel working in the hospitals.
