Eligibility:
A candidate having a BE/BTech/ AMIE in either of Mechanical / Mechatronics/ Robotics/ Automobile / Aerospace with a minimum passing in 10+2 science is eligible to join this course.

Course Details:
This post graduate course is of two year duration with class work and laboratory of core and elective subjects fundamentals and recent advances) in the first year and project and or internship in the second year. Various subjects covered in the first year could include IC Engine, Automotive Chassis & Transmission, Vehicle Dynamics, Combustion, Thermodynamics & Heat Transfer, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Control, Vehicle Design, Automotive Noise and Vibration, Alternative Fuels & Engine Pollution, Automobile Electrical Systems & Electronics and Composite Materials, Sustainable Design & Manufacturing etc. The student is expected to carry out an R&D or an implementation project called as dissertation on an individual basis based in an area of interest. Overall the course enables the student to be ready to face the challenges in the automotive industry.
