Introduction
Master of Technology or M.Tech. is a post-graduate level degree course in the technical stream. After completion of this course, candidates become eligible to get a reputed job but still if someone wants to pursue higher studies, he or she can enroll in Ph.D. or Doctor of Philosophy. It is a research-based course during which candidates learn through conducting different experiments.

The initial duration of the course includes topics like Advance heat transfer, finite element methods, different experimental techniques, the theory of elasticity and stress analysis. Candidates also learn about the design of heat exchangers, the design of pressure vessel, principles and designing of process equipment, etc during the course.
The course also includes some seminars, guest lectures, and some short-term projects.
