Eligibility and duration of course
You should have passed B.E./B.Tech or any equivalent degree. Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in qualifying degree. Passing an entrance exam may be mandatory in some institutes.

As an industrial engineering professional you are responsible to integrate the concepts of people, money, time and resource management with the principles of engineering, ergonomics, design and safety. As such, in this course other than basics on engineering, one has to study concepts about management science, operations research, systems engineering and management engineering. Some of the other topics concerned with industrial engineering are: project management, accounting, job design, financial engineering, process engineering, ergonomics, safety and quality engineering.
