Introduction
Master of Arts or M.A. is a theoretical course if Post Graduation level. It has many different specializations and Translation is one among that. The M.A. in Translation has 5 different languages which are German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Russian. Candidates are allowed to choose any of them as per their interest. Candidates get technical training and advanced linguistics through this course. The course provides structured advanced training in different fields of translation like terminology, translation teaching, and computerized translation.

Eligibility
Candidates who have completed bachelor's degree in Arts, that is B.A. in ay specialization from a reputed and recognized institute are eligible for this course. They must have scored at least 50% marks as aggregate to fulfill the eligibility criteria for this course.
Candidates having practical experience in translation before enrolling for the course are preferred by some institutes.

Further Study options
After completion of this course, candidates interested in teaching can go for Master of Education in Translation. Candidates having research aptitude should go for M.Phil and then Ph.D. in translation.
