Introduction
M.Phil or Master of Philosophy is a Post Graduate level degree course which is basically a research-oriented course and is available in many subjects. Women Education is completely related to social science which introduces the candidates to the feminist debates through research methodologies. Candidates learn about various methods and techniques for conducting research through this course. It also teaches about social theory especially from the feminist perspective, to understand and examine feminist debates, etc.

Candidates holding Masters Degree in the same or related stream from a reputed and recognized institute and have secured at least 55% marks as an aggregate are eligible for this course. In most of the cases, there is no age restriction for this course but it is better to check beforehand.

Further Study options
After completion of this course, candidates who are willing to continue their studies, can go for Doctor of Philosophy or Ph.D. which is again a research-based degree course through which the candidates get opportunity to conduct their own research on the topic of their interest under the supervision of their guide.
Course Highlights
The course curriculum includes both theory and practical topics. Candidates learn about various research methodologies for feminist research work, feminist interrogations of social theory, gender theory in India, etc. They also learn about research appreciation and practice and operationalizing feminist concepts for social research.
At the end of the course, candidates are supposed to write their thesis which should include all the details about their research work, their observation, and conclusion. They need to a presentation and then their thesis should be submitted before the end of this course.
