Introduction
M.Tech or Master of Technology in Energy and Environmental Engineering is a Post Graduate level engineering course which deals with different domains of private and public energy and environmental management. Candidates learn to make decisions about production, policy, resource utilization, etc and to act in an environmentally friendly way. The course provides knowledge and skills to work in a cost-effective way and to manage the energy resources in industrial and commercial development considering the environmental constraints.

Eligibility
The course requires candidates who have successfully completed their graduation in a technical stream and are holding Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree from a reputed institute. They must have scored 50% marks or higher to become eligible and the age criteria need to be checked as it varies from one to another institute.

The duration of this course is 2 years which is equivalent to 4 semesters; each having 6 months duration.
Further Study options
After completion of this course, candidates can enroll in Ph.D. in Green technology, Mineral Processing, Environmental Engineering or any other related topic of their interest. It is a Research-based course and candidates get chance to conduct their own experiments to draw conclusions.
