Overview
These days modern airliners have a lot of electronic and digital equipment loaded into them. The cockpits of jetliners like the Airbus A380 and the jumbo 787 of the Boeing Company are all laced with electronic gadgetry. The electronic equipment in the aircraft is essential in telling a lot many parameters like altitude, airspeed, temperature, pressure, instrumentation, communication and navigation. Here in these courses you will be learning the various fundamentals and applications of electronics in every sphere of life. Other than the aviation world you may seek a career in other fields too.
Eligibility and course duration
Anyone with a 10+2 or an equivalent qualification in the science stream can apply for the course. The course is of 3 years in duration. Admissions are based on the merit of the qualifying exam.
More about the course
The course is a useful one in getting trained as an aircraft mechanic in the avionics stream that includes the field of electrical, electronics and instrumentation. The course provides with a both theoretical and practical approach, where other than gaining in knowledge about the electrical and electronics fundamentals, you get to gain on hands-on experience too.
