Eligibility Criteria
- The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing B.E Agricultural Engineering is a pass degree in Higher Secondary Examination or 10+2 in Science stream with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with a minimum of 40 – 50% marks from a recognized college or university.
- State level entrance examination marks also take into consideration while allotting seats to the candidates.
Course Duration
The minimum duration of B.E Agricultural Engineering course is about 4 years divided into eight semesters with each semester lasting for a period of six months. In each semester, students have to face different sets of theoretical and practical or laboratory sessions.
Apart from theoretical subjects, practical sessions also give much importance. Workshops and study tours are held at regular intervals. During the last two semesters, project work and industrial training are also present.
