Eligibility Criteria

1. The students who wish to study this PhD. course should complete their M.Tech first. There is a restriction regarding the stream of this M.Tech. You should either pursue your master's course either Farm Machinery and Power Engineering or a related field.
2. The aggregate score obtained in the master's course must be minimum 60% or more.
3. If you clear the above two requirements, then you will be eligible for the UGC or CSIR NET examination. This is an all over India examination. You must get an altogether JRF rank in the NET examination to be eligible for this course.
4. All those students who have cleared the JRF examination will be eligible for the subsequent interview. In this interview, you will have to showcase, why you wish to study this course.

Future Job Prospects

1. Since this is a PhD. course, you can become an assistant professor in any engineering college. You will be teaching Farm Machinery to college students.
