About the course
It is an undergraduate Power Electronics course. It deals with the solid state electronic devices for the conversion and control of electric power. The students learn how electric power conversion is performed with semiconductor switching devices such as transistors and diodes. The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing B.E. Power Electronics course is a pass degree in 10+2 or Higher Secondary Examination with core subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Maths from a recognized college or university.
The duration of B.E. Power Electronics course is 4 years which is divided into eight semesters, with each semester lasting for a period of six months.
