Introduction
M.Sc. is an abbreviation of Master of Science which is a post-graduate level degree course in the field of Science. M.Sc. is available in all the subjects in science stream and The branch of clinical virology deals with the study of viruses, virus-like biological agents, their detailed structure, evolution, classification, their modes of causing infections and exploiting cells, virus reproduction, diseases, etc. Candidates also learn about the techniques to isolate and then to culture them, their various applications in research and therapies.

Duration
Just like any other postgraduate degree course, it is also having 2 years duration. There 2 years are divided into 4 semesters in some institutes and candidates need to qualify each of them separately.
Eligibility
Graduates in the field of science and technology from a reputed and registered institute are eligible for this course. The accepted courses are B.Sc. in Science, Biotechnology, Applied Microbiology, Virology or B.Tech in the same subjects. The minimum qualifying marks should be 50% or higher to become eligible for this course.
