About the course
The course provides a high quality international learning experience that develops in learners a systematic understanding of knowledge related to culinary administration. The course provides the students a long term perspective with regard to kitchen administration and decision making skills so after completion of this course they will have an excellent portfolio of academic and practical culinary arts kitchen administration and management skills. The course also provides the students with industry of the art work experience and project collaboration.
Eligibility Criteria
- The basic qualification for pursuing B.A. (Hons.) International Culinary Administration course is a pass degree in 10+2 or Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent examination in any stream (Arts / Science / Commerce) from a recognized college or university.
- Candidates applying to this course should have an aptitude for the hospitality / service industry and they should demonstrate this quality through personal interview.
- They should have fluency in English both written and verbal.
The duration of B.A. (Hons.) International Culinary Administration course is 3 years full time.
Admission process
The application form should be supported with all educational certificates and mark sheets of all the examinations passed. The certificates should be attested by the Principal of the School / Institute or a Gazetted Officer or Special Executive Magistrate. All original certificates and marks sheets have to be produced at the time of scrutiny of application prior to admission.
Application for admission will not be considered or stand valid unless it is:
Properly and correctly filled in all aspects
Attested copies of the requisite certificates should be accompanied in support of the claims made in the application form
Application with all supported documents should reach the college / institute office before or on last date & time as prescribed
Upon submission of application, selected candidates will be called to write an entrance examination and undergo interview as part of the selection process.
Internship
Real time experience form part of this program. Summer / winter internship as well as concurrent training form an integral part of the international culinary administration curriculum and is mandatory. During the six month industrial training, students get knowledge in all the four core operational departments such as food and beverage service, front office, food production and housekeeping. This gives them a deep insight into the working of an Indian as well as International hotel and helps them to decide their department of interest in which they specialize.
