Eligibility:

A candidate who has done BE or BTech in any of the following is eligible to join this PG course: Computers, IT, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and qualified the GATE exam. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, called Gate in short is an all India examination which tests the comprehensive understanding of various UG subjects in Engineering and Technology of the applicants.

Course Details:

MTech Computer Engineering is of two years duration with course work comprising of theory, practical, mini projects, seminars and assignments. The curriculum includes various subjects like advanced computer architecture, advanced computer networks, data structures and algorithms, pattern recognition, advanced operating systems, distributed computing, parallel processing, mobile computing, soft computing, neural networks. In the second year students are expected to carry out a research based or an implementation project and submit a dissertation.
