Introduction
M.Sc. is an abbreviation of Master of Science, which is a post graduation degree course in science stream. This course requires graduate candidates who have pursued their bachelor's degree in any of the related subjects from a registered and recognized institute. The course starts with basic topics like silk reeling technology, apparel marketing and merchandising, chemical processing of textiles, knitting technology, etc. Then the candidates learn about total quality management, fiber reinforced composites, non-mulberry silk technology, and erection and maintenance of textile machinery.
Details of yarn and silk fiber manufacturing are also included in the course. Some guest lectures, practical sessions, projects are there to provide a better understanding.
