The post graduate program aims to equip you with skills in animation, both 2D and 3D kind. It addresses the need to establish a creative pool of talent that will exclusively work for the animation industry. It helps to work on your creative ideas and transforming them into animated works. You will learn to create 2D and 3D drawings, design characters, write stories, dialogues and animating the characters. You will also learn the principles of cinematography, set designing, lighting, texturing, etc. Then there are other aspects like costume designing, props designing and performing post-production tasks. Other than hands-on training in various aspects of animation film designing, you also get to attend seminars and workshops that provide you with the right insight of the animation industry. You will be also taking up projects during the coursework.

In the animation industry, you may work as an animator, storyboard artist, character designer, art director, creative director, designer, producer, layout artist and concept artist. You may work in the entertainment industry in companies such as Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Pogo, etc. You may work as a consultant or work as a freelancer in this industry. Other than that you may work for film studios, gaming companies, graphic media houses, TV channels, advertising agencies, news agencies and similar other fields.
