Intake capacity

Talking about the Government medical colleges offering Diploma Diabetology course, the intake capacity is very less. The Madras Medical College, affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. University is permitted to admit only three students per year for the Diploma Diabetology course. On the other hand, the Topiwala National Medical College, affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences is permitted to admit only twelve students per year for this course.
