About B.Tech in Bio process Technology course
Bachelor of Technology in Bio process Technology is a four year undergraduate level course. This course mainly focus on areas like pharmaceutical company, petrochemical industry, food industry, pollution control systems etc. This course provides students skills and the knowledge required to understand the fundamental bio process research.
Eligibility
Minimum eligibility required to get admission to this course is to pass in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one out of Biology/ Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Computer or any other technical subject from a recognized board or council with minimum 45% to 50% marks in aggregate.

Admission to B.Tech in Bioprocess Technology course is given based on candidates performance in state level or national level entrance examinations like AIEEE, JEE Main etc. Students must go through the counselling after sucessfully learing the entrance examination.

Bio process technology involves in several stages like preparing raw materials, conversion, bio catalysts, downstream process, volume production, purification and processing final product. Bio process technology is majorly applied in agricultural and industrial sectors in production of medicines, enzyme production and in waste treatment. The B.Tech in Bio process Technology course includes both theoretical and practical based subjects and in last year of this course students need to go for internship.

Duration of B.Tech in Bio process Technology course is four years. Each year is divided into 2 semesters and each semester lasts for a period of 6 months. Candidates are need to qualify each and every semester separately by the end of the course.
