About M.Tech Renewable Energy Course
Master of Technology in Renewable Energy is a two years post graduation program which provides students an in-depth understanding of fields such as bio gas, solar wind energy, hydroelectricity, bio mass, tidal energy, waste heat recovery, green building etc.
Minimum eligibility required ti apply for admission to the M.Tech in Renewable Energy course is to qualify in Bachelor's degree (B.E/ B.Tech) or equivalent in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Chemical/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering/ Mechatronics/ Production/ Aerospace/ Renewable Energy/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized university with minimum aggregate score of 55%. Candidates with M.Sc. degree in Chemistry/ Material Science/ Physics with minimum aggregate score of 55% are also eligible to apply for this course.
Admission procedure may differ from college to college. Some college may offer admission to the M.Tech in Renewable Energy course based on the merit obtained at graduation level. And most of the institutes offer admission based on candidate's performance in entrance examination like GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) and interview. Some institutes may conduct their own entrance examinations.

M.Tech in Renewable Energy makes students learn the theoretical and practical aspects of renewable energy technologies like solar power, hydroelectricity, wind power, biomass, bio fuels etc. and its implementation, energy conversation and management.
