Renal science concerns with the functioning of kidneys. It is also related to the term Nephrology. Nephrology is the study of the normal functioning of kidneys and their treatment in case of problems. It also concerns with dialysis procedure and kidney transplantation. Dialysis is part of the renal replacement therapy, where the normal blood filtering function of the kidneys is replaced by taking help of machines.
