Introduction
M.Tech. is a Masters Degree or Post graduation degree in the field of engineering and technology. M.Tech in Bio-Medical Signal Processing and IT is a multidisciplinary course which includes both engineering principles and biomedical science. Candidates pursuing this course study about advanced biomedical signal processing, real-time signal processing, and speech processing, digital image processing in connection with neural networks and other related IT components. The course includes both analytical and quantitative studies of Hardware and software methods for whole organisms even at the molecular level.
Being a technical course, it cannot be pursued through correspondence but there are some institutes offering this in part-time mode.
Eligibility
Candidates holding Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of technology in any of the related fields like EEE/ ECE/ I&C/ EIE, etc from a registered institute and have scored at least 50% marks as an aggregate are eligible for this course.
Admission Procedure
This course is considered as a professional one hence the admissions are not so easy, especially in reputed institutes. They conduct entrance tests and shortlist the deserving candidates on the basis of their performance in the same.
