Software like AutoCAD and others have totally revolutionized the concept of designing. Designing or drafting is no more a tedious process. Same is true for CAM, which has revolutionized the production process. CNC machines are the norms in the factories these days. Production is now a lot faster, precise, error-free and with the least of wastage.
Eligibility and course duration
Graduation in any of the fields of engineering from a recognized university or institution. Admission to the program is based on GATE marks and a certain minimum marks in graduation. An entrance test too may be conducted.
