About the course


The PGDHRM course offers an extensive curriculum. In this course, the participants learn from basic functions such as planning and organizing to performance appraisals and compensation management. Multidisciplinary topics such as economics, accounting and others are also introduced in this program which is important for decision making and strategic planning. Importance is given on motivation of staff, remuneration strategies, analysis of conflict in an organization and processes of effective resolution of conflicts. The participants also learn the related labor laws and practices. This course ensures that the students learn all the important aspects of HR.

Program Structure


This one year PGDHRM course consists of 2 semesters where the participants learn about the different aspects of an HR role. The program aims to prepare students for multipurpose roles in HR including but not limited to HR generalist or specialist, employment relations, compensations/benefits, employee development, appraisals, recruitment, motivation of staffs, resolving employee conflicts, rewards and recognition of staffs, etc.

Project Work


The candidates are required to complete project work that is being conducted before each semester exams. Also, they have to complete assignments of the projects before the commencement of exams. Both project work and assignments carry weightage of marks.
