Eligibility Criteria

  1. The students who wish to study this course should study an undergraduate course first. There is no restriction regarding the stream to be pursued in graduation. Nonetheless, it has been observed that students of science and arts stream have found this course the most beneficial.
  2. The students should obtain a minimum of 50% in their graduation to be able to take the application forms.
  3. To further shortlist the students, the B.Ed. college conducts an entrance examination. The students must clear that entrance examination in order to study this B.Ed. Sometimes if the number of candidates clearing the entrance examination are more than the number of vacancies, an interview is conducted to shortlist the students.


Job Prospects

  1. You can become a TGT or a trained graduate teacher in any government school. Your post will be a little different from that of any normal teacher. Here along with teaching the subject, you will have to look after the administrative procedures of the school.
  2. You can join any NGO as an adult trainer. Here also, you will have to perform duties other than teaching. You will have to gather information about families where the adult members require training. You will have to organize workshops, seminars for adults to attract them to educational programs.
  3. You can apply for the post of a project linked person in institutes like ISI, IIT or NIT. Your job will be to perform different kinds of survey. You will have to analyze the data from that survey and infer upon the results.
