Eligibility Criteria

1. The minimum qualification required for this course is MBBS. This course is beneficial for students who have not taken in specialization in MBBS. If you are a student of general MBBS course, then you will be open to any kind of professional course or specialization, post the MBBS. If any student has done any other medical course which is equivalent to MBBS degree, then also the student is eligible to study this diploma. In fact, M.D. students who have completed any specialization which is related to psychiatric medicines, are also eligible to study this course.
2. The students need to score a minimum of 50% in the MBBS degree.
3. Along with the above criteria, it is advisable that the students also possess a diploma in psychology. This would help them in understanding the technology used in preparing these medicines. Students with this diploma will have an advantage in understanding the course curriculum easily, as they are already familiar with all sorts of diseases of psychological patients.
