It would be advisable to prepare the project on the current ongoing patent recognition practices, to become more eligible for the jobs.

Eligibility

1. The students must pass their graduation before taking up the application forms of this course. The branches of undergraduate course which are allowed to be a part of this course are Science /Technology /Medicine /Law. Only in case of students who are pursuing law or or an integrated LL B course, a special amendment is done to the eligibility criterion. The amendment is that the students are allowed to apply for this course and study this postgraduate certificate course in parallel, only if they are in the fourth or fifth year of their course. Along with this, there should be no supplementary or backlogs from the previous years. All those students who have backlogs in the previous three years and are currently in the fourth year cannot apply for this certificate course, unless their backlogs are clear prior to the application.
2. There is no restriction regarding the marks to be obtained in graduation. The admission is mostly on a first come first serve basis.

1. You can become an intern to a patent attorney. You can learn how to analyze the various kinds of patents and how to implement the rules on the protection of those patents while being subordinate to the attorney. If you do your job really well, then you can be an assistant to that attorney.
2. You can join a factory as a patent advisor. The factories require patent attorneys or advisors to decide on the validity and viability of the patents they have decided to apply for.
