About M.Tech Construction Engineering and Management Course
Master of Technology in Construction Engineering and Management is a two year postgraduate civil engineering course which focus on technical and non technical aspects of civil engineering systems and objects. It deals with the designing, planning, constructing and management of the infrastructures such as airports, dams, bridges, ring roads, footpaths, public sanitation, tunnels, highways, buildings, utilities and other such projects.
It includes study of advanced concepts such as project management, management science, supply chain management, decision making and risk analysis, lean manufacturing and optimization etc. Students are made to apply theoretical knowledge practically by working on the real world project in the laboratories. Quality practice lab, project management lab and construction material labs are made available for students for practice in this course.
Duration
Duration of the M.Tech Construction Engineering and Management course is 2 years, divided into 4 semesters. Time period of each semester is 6 months.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum eligibility required to apply for admission to the M.Tech Construction Engineering and Management course is to qualify B.E/ B.Tech in Information Technology/ Computer Science Engineering/ Electrical and Electronic Engineering/ Electronic and Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering from a recognized university. And minimum aggregate score of 60% at both higher, senior secondary levels i.e class 10th, 12th and in graduation.
