Eligibility Criteria

1. Two of the popular institutes offering this MPT course is SRM institute in Kanchipuram and the VELS University in Chennai. The students who wish to study this master's in physiotherapy course from here or any other college should hold a BPT degree.
2. The cutoff score for completing graduation in Physiotherapy is 55%.
3. The students who satisfy the previous criteria will be called for an entrance examination. The syllabus of the entrance examination will be based on the undergraduate courses in Physiotherapy. The names of the top scorers in the entrance examination and the undergraduate examination will be compiled and published. This means that the students will get a score based on the marks they obtained in their graduation. This will be added to the score they get in the entrance examination.

Future Job Prospects

1. You can join as a junior physiotherapist in a hospital or a homeopathy clinic. Your job will be not only to treat patients but also counsel them mentally.
2. You can become an osteopath in any private clinic or a nursing home. Your job will be to treat patients only on the basis of touch therapy.
3. If you want to change the zone of your work, then you can join the defense services. There is a high demand of such physiotherapists after a war. You will have to treat soldiers and bring them out of their pain.
4. After being in this field for around 12-15 years, you can open your own healthcare clinic or a private nursing home and provide physiotherapy treatments.
