Eligibility Criteria

1. The students must complete a BPT or a bachelor's in Physiotherapy course before applying for this M.P.T course. All those students who have completed a degree equivalent to BPT will also be allowed to apply. This course is also offered in distance mode. In that case, there is no restriction over the stream to be pursued in graduation.
2. You must possess minimum 55% marks in the graduation.
3. To further shortlist the students most universities conduct an entrance examination. You need to clear this entrance examination to be a part of this course. There is a condition for exemption from this test. All those candidates who have a valid score in either JIPMER or All India Postgraduate Physiotherapy Common Entrance Test(AIPGCET), will be exempted from this entrance examination.

Future Job Prospects

1. You can become a skeletal expert in a sports academy. The students of the sports academy many times suffer from severe skeletal or muscle injury. You have to treat them.
2. You can join defense services. Just like the sports persons, army officers suffer from leg and other muscle injuries. Your job will be to treat them physically. You might have to provide them some counseling too.
3. You can become a trainer of sports physiotherapy. You will have to visit private nursing homes in India or abroad and the interns about sports physiotherapy.
4. You can also become a hospital administrator.
5. You can become an assistant professor of M.P.T Sports Physiotherapy. You will have to teach various subjects of BPT and M.P.T to the students in the university.
