Introduction and Overview

Eligibility Criteria

1. You need to clear your graduation before you study this course. There is a restriction regarding the stream of graduation. Only those students who have completed a BPT or bachelor's in Physiotherapy degree are allowed to take the application forms of this course.
2. The students need to score a minimum of 55% in their graduation. Some colleges may allow a relaxation of 5% in the cutoff, for the students belonging to the reserved category.
3. The entry to this course is generally on the basis of merit. Having said that, if you already possess a valid score of any national entrance examination of M.P.T for example, All India Postgraduate Physiotherapy Common Entrance Test(AIPGCET), then you will get an added advantage over others.

1. You can become an assistant professor in any subject of the BPT course.
2. You can become an osteopath. Your job will be to heal the wounds and pain of the patients by applying appropriate massaging techniques.
3. You can join the defense services. Many army officers are rehabilitated due to their severe injuries. Your job will be to help them recuperate faster.
4. You can join as a counselor in any psychiatric institution. Your job will be to counsel young students and other patients from their mental depression.
5. You can become a physiotherapist in any polyclinic or private nursing home.
6. You can become the official physiotherapist of any sports academy/ cricket coaching center/ kabaddi coaching center/ football coaching center. These training centers require permanent physiotherapists as their students and professional sports persons get injured regularly.
