About B.E Mining Engineering course
It is a division of engineering in which the students learn about the techniques involved in extracting mineral ores from the natural environment. The minerals include metallic and non-metallic ores and solid fuels. The mining techniques involve drilling, blasting, processing, production, extraction, marketing, etc. Apart from these techniques, the main task of mining engineer is to check that the project on which they are working is environmentally safe and that they are not destroying the natural environment.
This Bachelor's mining course integrates the aspects of both science and engineering and provides the knowledge of mining- extraction and processing of ores. And this course prepares the candidate to learn the theory and practice of mining to take up leading positions in the mining industry.
DurationThe duration of B.E Mining Engineering course is about 4 years, divided into 8 semesters.
