Once you have completed your M.tech in electrical and electronics engineering, you can continue further studies by opting for a Ph.D degree. In the coursework of 6months-1 year, you will have to study the basics of electrical engineering. You have already learnt that in your M.tech. The rest of the Ph.D course will be of 4-5 years. In these years you will have to come up with innovative ideas in the field of electronics. You will be provided with the necessary materials by your research guide.
- You must have obtained a master's(M.Tech) degree in electrical engineering or electronics engineering or electronics and communication engineering with minimum 60% marks.
- You will also have to clear GATE or UGC NET or CSIR NET examination to be eligible for this course. Those who don't have a valid GATE or NET score will have to sit for an entrance examination set by the university itself.
