Overview

In very few words, psychology can be defined as the study of the mind and our body. Psychology is about thoughts, feelings, perceptions and our behaviour. Why we act or respond the way we do, how we remember past events and how we recognise things are all part of studying psychology. In Bachelor of Arts in Psychology the stress is on how to understand relationships and interpret individual behaviour. One gets to experiment and investigate human behaviour to satisfy the natural curiosity about how our mind works. The course can be pursued by students either for direct employment soon after the course or they may pursue it as a foundation for applied programs in psychology and other related post graduate programs in counselling, relationship management and social work.
