Diploma MRD Details

This course has scopes for both 10+2 passed outs as well as MBBS degree holders. Although the course details may vary slightly in both the cases.
The course will be completed in 2 years for full time classes.

Basic syllabus

The basic syllabus for the course is as follows and may vary from institute to institute.
The whole syllabus will be having two broad parts- Theory and Practical. The Theory part will have following subjects-

• Basic science related to the speciality of Radio-diagnosis
• Respiratory System
• Gastrointestinal (GIT) and Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic System
• Genito-Urinary System
• Musculoskeletal System
• Cardiovascular Radiology
• Neuro-Radiology
• Radiology Emergency Medicine
• Mammography and Breast Intervention
• General Radiology- this includes study of Ultrasound, Angiography, CT, MRI etc separately.

Then comes the practical part, which includes following subjects-

• Practical Schedule –Physics
• Practical radiography
• Anatomy
• Pathology
• Contrast Media

Note- Please note that the syllabus and course details will be different for Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma will be slightly different and Post Graduate Diploma will include in depth study of all the subjects.
