Course introduction
ME in Civil is Masters of Engineering in Civil is a professional course. It covers the study of construction, design and maintenance of roads, bridges, dams and buildings. Apart from theory, course also includes field visits, investigations, study of complications, checking of feasibility, etc.
Eligibility
For admission in ME-Civil, a candidate must have done his/her graduation that is BE or B. Tech in Civil or any other allied branch of Civil. The minimum qualifying marks may vary from one institute to another and candidates need to check it before making application.
Admission Procedure
Admission in reputed colleges requires qualification of entrance tests and then an Interview. Candidates initially need to submit the filled application form along with other enclosures and then need to appear for entrance examination. Shortlisted candidates on the basis of their performance in entrance test are then called for an Interview and the final selection will be based on overall performance.
Duration
This course is having 2 years of duration and these 2 years are divided into 4 semesters. Each semester ends with final examination and candidates need to pass each semester separately.
