Course introduction
The course is designed to improve the human environment. Candidates learn about actions and planning required for environment improvement. Eligibility
All 12th passed candidates who have selected Biology, physics and chemistry as their specialization are eligible for this course. Professionals with relevant experience are also allowed to pursue this course in part time mode or weekend classes to have better job aspects in future.
Duration
The duration of course is 1 year in normal case but can be varied for part time mode and for professionals. The 1 year is divided into 2 semesters, each having 6 months duration.
Admission Procedure
Admission procedure simply (Direct admission or Merit based) includes submission of application form before its last date. The application form must be filled completely and should be enclosed with prescribed application fee in proper format (Cash/ demand draft/cheque) and other required documents.
Further study options
Candidates pursuing this after their 12th are advised to pursue regular degree to have better career. They can go for graduation (Bachelor's in Environment management), post graduation (Masters in Environment management) or post graduate diploma in the same field. Other related short term course can also be pursued to have broad job aspects.
Course highlights
Through this course, candidates will learn about Conservation and Natural Resource Management, Environmental Management in Mining, Conservation Biology, Sustainable Development and Resource and Environmental Economics. English language and Mathematics are also a part of this course.
Some basic part from Physical Science, Combined Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Physics and Design & Technology are also included in the course.
