If the candidates applying to this course possess an experience of working as a part of any NGO for at least 2 years, then they have a better chance in getting selected for this course. The duration of the course is around 6-8 months. The students will learn various aspects about the society in this course. They will learn about the different issues and problems of the society and the measures to prevent such issues. They will also learn about global issues also. They will learn how to design various social welfare projects and organize funds from government and private organizations for such projects.

Job Prospects

1. You will start off as an NGO worker initially.
2. With around 2 years of experience you can start assisting in the coordination of welfare projects. After having a first hand experience in assisting such projects, you can become the actual project coordinator. Your duty will be to see that the entire project is well planned and well distributed among the NGO workers.This is a very tough job, because if you fail to plan a project correctly, you will stop getting proper funds from the government. At the end of every year, you will have to submit the documents supporting what you have done in that year.
3. If you have quite a long experience as a project coordinator, then you can become the senior consultant in such NGOs.You will be able to put forward your views of what project to take up and what not.
