Course introduction
The course is designed to enhance the skills of teachers, educators, administrators, etc. The course includes all the material required to understand about counseling processes and guidance. Candidates learn about human adjustment theories, career development and application of theories in psychological assessment, counseling and appraisal.
The course also includes study about counseling special groups of students. Candidates learn about multicultural forces, crisis situations, industrialization, globalization, etc.
The course includes practical work which includes training which gives opportunities to learn practical aspects of theories.
Eligibility
professional teachers, graduates with B.Ed. degree holders, candidates with 2 or more years of teaching experience are eligible for this course.
Post graduate candidates from the field of education, psychology, social work, special education, child development, etc.
Please note that candidate having teaching experience will get preference.
Duration
The duration is 2 years for regular course. It is also available in part time course mode and the duration can be extended in exceptional cases.
Admission Procedure
It includes submission of duly filled application form which should be enclosed with other required documents like self attested mark sheets and application fee. Candidate must check the eligibility criteria of institutes they are interested.
