Eligibility1) You need to hold minimum 55% in either your M.E. or M.Tech. or MCA. You can also have masters degree in Mathematics with 55% or more.
2) You must have a clear score of either UGC/CSIR NET, or SET, or SLET, or GATE.

Generally the cost remains under this amount for the entire 6-7 years course.
Those who do not have a NET score or GATE score must clear the PhD. entrance examination set by the respective university. After you pass this course you can take research fellowships in abroad countries and earn sufficient. You can open your own company to develop innovative embedded systems and attract government grants to fund it. Lastly, if you have any wish to go into academics, then you can join as a professor in this subject in government colleges.
