Catering is a segment of the food industry which is multifaceted. There is a niche of all types of catering like social gatherings or business meetings. Hotel Management refers to the professional techniques of the hotel industry which includes administration, accounts, housekeeping, front-office jobs and likewise.

Duration

The duration is generally 3 years. But it is also provided as a part-time course in certain institutes. It is generally offered as a full time management course.

Eligibility Criteria

Any candidate who has passed 10+2 from a recognized Indian board. The cut-off marks may differ from college to college.

There are also a lot of practical training involved specially in Food production and patisserie, Food and Beverage Service and Computer Applications.
