Eligibility Criteria

1. You just need to be a pass out from 12th standard in science stream


2. Having Physics and Mathematics in the subject combination is essential


3. You might also hold a government degree which is equivalent to higher secondary. But then also having at least Physics and Mathematics as two of the subject combination is necessary

Additional Details

This course is of 3 year long. Some colleges divide this course under three yearly examinations namely, part 1, part 2 and part 3. Some colleges have semester system. So there you will have to sit for 6 semesters.
There is no hard and fast rule that you must score 80% or 90% in your higher secondary to be eligible to join this course. But since the admission procedure in this course is entirely based on merit and not on admission test, the better you score in your higher secondary the better
will your chances get to be admitted in this course. In fact students getting less than 65% is not admitted for B.Sc. in information technology in most colleges.
