Eligibility Criteria

  • It is an undergraduate course in Civil Engineering. The basic qualification for pursuing B.Tech Civil Engineering course is a pass in 10+2 or Higher Secondary Examination in Science stream with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized college or university.
  • For most of the engineering colleges and institutes, the minimum percentage required in qualifying exam is 50%. However, the required percentage criteria depend on college to college.
  • Mechanical diploma holders or allied stream are also eligible to take admission in the second year of B.Tech Civil Engineering course. They must have completed their diploma after 10th. In some cases, candidates having bachelor degree in science are also eligible for this course.

The duration of B.Tech Civil Engineering course is of 4 years which is divided into eight semesters with each semester lasting for a period of six months.
