Difference between 'throughput' and 'throughout'

'Throughput' is the amount of material processed.

'Throughout' means consistently from the beginning to the end.


Sample Usage

eg 1. The throughput of sugarcane juice obtained was high during the summer.

eg 2. While we were out for a picnic, it had been raining throughout.
